The Montreux Healthcare fund has completed on the purchase of Medbank Healthcare Solutions Limited, a specialist recruitment business based in the Midlands. The acquisition will enhance the operating company’s (Op. Co.) staffing strategy which serves the whole group.

The business has an established network of clients which it has developed over the last 15 years and is set to add c.£300,000 EBITDA to the group. The business is based near some of the Active Care Group’s existing facilities, enhancing the Op Co.’s ability to source staff from the local area.

The acquisition will be integrated into Jane Lewis, a larger staffing business which was acquired in 2018.

Oliver Harris, CEO, Montreux Capital Management (UK) stated: “The purchase of this business will enhance our staffing strategy, filling a geographical gap in the current portfolio.

Whilst this business will be a welcome addition to the group, it also has the ability to offer third party staffing solutions to the NHS and private providers. We predict staffing will be more challenging for many businesses in the sector post Brexit, especially those smaller businesses which have not adequately prepared.

The Active Care Group is the only specialist care business which has executed its staffing strategy in this manner, and we feel we are uniquely placed in the industry.”
