Patrick Evans, previously Partner at Knight Frank, has joined Montreux Capital Management (UK) [Montreux] as Investment Director. The move sees the company further strengthen its team due to increased deal flow and broader expansion plans as it grows its asset base.
Patrick who previously spent 17 years at Knight Frank and has worked alongside Montreux on many deals in the past, will add a breadth of experience across the investment function of the business, as well as a strong network within the sector.
The move is coupled with several key hires recently made by the firm, notably Dr. Amlan Basu as Chief Medical Officer, Fay Hitchenor as Head of People and Terry Allen as Senior Analyst. All of whom bring substantial experience either working within healthcare specific functions under private equity ownership or working within private markets directly.
On his appointment, Patrick Evans stated: “It’s a tremendous privilege to be joining Montreux at such an important time for the business. The Fund’s strategy to expand and constantly improve standards across our portfolio companies is driven by a simple ambition; to help residents, their families and staff members thrive. As demand for healthcare services increases, it is more important than ever that innovative owners continue to invest in the sector.”
Oliver Harris, Founder/Managing Partner, Montreux Capital Management (UK) stated: “We have made several key hires over the past few months, maintaining our position as one of the best teams in UK specialist care investment. Patrick joining our team is great news for our investors and wider stakeholders as his expertise will add significantly to our acquisition process and his network ought to increase deal flow further”.
